The Royal Wootton Bassett Twinning Association (“We”, “Us” or “Our”) is committed to respecting your privacy. This Privacy Notice is provided for Our current, prospective and past members(“You”, “Your”)
This Notice tells You about how We collect, process, use and share Your personal data, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (2016/679), (the “Act”), which is effective in English Law from 25 May 2018.

1. Data (information and photographs) We collect and store about You.
We collect from You and store it so that we can decide whether to make a grant. We do not obtain any information about You from third parties unless we have your specific consent.

If You are under 18 the information provided about you will have been willingly supplied by a Parent/Guardian.

Our usual method of communication is by email to the email address supplied by the Parent/Guardian or in case where Person is 18 yrs or older it will be directly to the Person.

For as long as we hold your data, it will be used for the following purposes:

To communicate in relation to Association events and excursions..
4. How long We retain Your personal data.
Unless required by law to hold Your personal data for longer, We will hold it for no more than 3 years.

The information which You provide to Us is shared between the Assocation in order make communications. We will not provide this information to any third party.

  • b. You have a right to request that any inaccuracies be rectified or erased.
  • c. You have a right to ask Us to erase some or all of Your personal data, in which case You may lose the chance to be considered for a Grant.
  • d. You have a right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office http://www.ico.gov.uk if You have any concerns about Our handling of Yourdata.
